DTN COMMENTS: Light business is evident in several areas at midmorning with
live prices fully steady with last week. Most showlists continue to be
priced higher at 98-99 in the South, and 155+ in the North. Some packers
appear to be short bought and trade volume should grow later today and/or
tomorrow as bids firm.
Beef cutouts are expected to be lower, with light to moderate box movement.
Cattle futures are moderately higher in the live pit supported by short
covering and signs of cash stability.
TERMINALS: STEERS HEIFERS COWS BULLS
